Several visits were made to law firms in order to equip students with practical skills related to dealing with clients and to familiarize them with real legal cases

In order to integrate students into the local community while blending theory and practice, cooperation was established with legal experts to familiarize students with practical aspects of certain legal issues
The first meeting was with Judge Hisham Al-Maawda and the students of the Criminal Procedures course on 7/2/2021. The focus was on the investigation stage, evidence collection, the relationship between prosecution and judicial investigators, and their duties under Bahraini procedural law. The lecture aimed to develop students’ listening skills and ability to deal with practical issues that arise in this context.
A meeting was held with Captain Mohammed Abdulatif Al-Abdullah from the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security on 1/2/2012. The focus was on the risks and methods of combating cybercrimes and related practical aspects… .
On 7/4/2021, the Legal Clinic participated in organising a seminar entitled “What do you know about the legal profession?” The clinic director presented his contribution entitled “The Role of the Legal Clinic in Enhancing the Legal Profession,” highlighting the clinic’s role in enhancing the skills of students aspiring to practice law after graduation. .
A field visit was made to the office of lawyer Aysha Al-Dhaen in appreciation of her efforts during the periodic meetings with the clinic throughout the second semester of the academic year 2021/2022. During these meetings, she worked to enhance practical and applied aspects relevant to lawyers, primarily ethics that lawyers should embody, in addition to the legal drafting of regulations, memoranda, and contracts.
The clinic students participated in moot court trials in collaboration with students of the “Applications in Private Law” course. The first moot trial took place in the second semester of the academic year 2020/2021.
The second moot court was held in the first semester of the academic year 2021/2022.
The Legal Clinic contributed a proposal for the moot court competition held for secondary school students in government and private schools in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
