Program Objectives

- Develop applied, analytical, and methodological skills at a professional level, encourage scientific research, and conduct studies in business administration and related fields through the design and implementation of original research, while promoting academic publishing in accordance with research ethics standards.
- Prepare distinguished academic cadres with strong academic qualifications and specialized knowledge competence in business, capable of developing various business fields in local, regional, and global markets.

Admissions requirements
Admissions Requirements for PhD Programmes
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree, or their equivalents, from a university or college recognized in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- The applicant must hold an academic degree in the same PhD specialization or in one of the related fields. In such cases, the student is required to pass a number of remedial courses approved by the University and determined by the relevant department.
- The minimum requirement for admission is holding a Master’s degree with a cumulative GPA of no less than Very Good or its equivalent. If the GPA is below the required level, the application shall be referred to the Graduate Studies Committee to consider the possibility of granting conditional admission and to submit the appropriate recommendation to the University Council for final decision.
- Successful completion of the personal interview.
- For admission to the PhD program, the applicant must pass the English language placement test approved by the University, or submit a TOEFL certificate or its equivalent with a minimum score of (450). If this requirement is not met, the student will be required to study a number of English language courses determined by the College. Applicants who hold an academic degree from a program taught in English are exempt from the English language requirement.
