It is with a great pleasure to welcome you to the College of Law.

The legal profession is changing rapidly and significantly from what was traditional legal practice to a more digital transformational of legal professions, together with globalization, and change of social requirements. Therefore, the College of Law strives to provide its students with the necessary knowledge and skills preparing them to adapt to change and ensure that they are equipped with right knowledge and skills that fulfil the requirements of employability in the legal sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the region.

The College offers a range of Law programmes to suit various ambitions and career opportunities in the legal arena. The College offers the following degree programmes at both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, namely the Bachelor in Law, the Master in Law and the Master in Commercial Law. These programmes are recognized by the Higher Education Council in the Kingdom of Bahrain and have achieved full confidence by the Bahrain Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA).In 2022/2023 the College started offering a dual award programme titled LLB (Hons) Law, validated by London South Bank University (LSBU) in the UK. This programme will provide a unique opportunity for students to obtain an internationally recognized UK Degree and have a major competitive advantage in the Bahraini as well as the regional and international labor markets.

Upon successful completion of the degree programme, a student will be awarded two sets of certificates and transcripts – one from LSBU and one from ASU. Thus, these are validated programmes that lead to dual certificates.
