On “The Role of the Legislative Authority in Legislation-Making”
The Faculty of Law held its distinguished legal dialogue event within its annual scientific and cultural program, tagged with: “You ask and the jurist answers” about the role of the legislative authority in the legislation industry”, which aims to build the personality of the law student in our blessed university, and increase the level of scientific and legal awareness by identifying scientific figures working in the field of legal legislation, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 AD at Abdullah Nass Hall, in honor of the anniversary of the National Charter that established its rules and built the edifice of its civilized structure, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, participated in this dialogue event a group of jurists, headed by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Tawalbeh, Deputy Chairman of the Legal Advisors Authority in the Bahraini Shura Council, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ayman Al-Hammouri, Assistant Professor of Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Applied Sciences, under the direct supervision and patronage of Dr. Hussein Bani Issa, Acting Dean of the College and the presence of his Excellency the Vice President of the University, Dr. Nabil Al-Qadi, and Prof. Dr. Hilal Al-Bayati, Head of the Quality Unit at the university, and the participation of a large number of faculty members and administrators in the college and the university, and a large gathering of our students, Dr. Ali Al-Tawalbeh showed a detailed explanation of the work of the Shura Council with a scientific and legal comparison with the Council of Representatives pursuant to the issuance of the necessary legislation to serve citizens in the beloved Kingdom of Bahrain. Al-Hammouri shed light on the reality of the legislation industry in constitutional jurisprudence, citing the reality of the Bahraini constitution and how it organizes this constitutional right, and in the end there was a tremendous interaction by the students of the Faculty of Law with their large and striking presence and indication of the advancement of the level of effectiveness, where they enriched the dialogue with in-depth legal questions and the dialogue of the guests in a scientific and civilized way that won the admiration of the guests who praised the scientific and legal level of the students of the Faculty of Law at the University of Applied Sciences and their success in legal and legislative institutions and prestigious law firms in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
