Main Duties of the Department

  1. Ensure that all staffing ratios such as faculty to student ratios are compliant with the HEC rules and regulations, in addition to forecasting staffing needs based on students’ enrolment trends. 
  2. Provide transport services.
  3. Take the required steps in obtaining, stamping work permits and follow up with employees affairs.
  4. Hotel reservations and booking of flight tickets.
  5. Assist employees in overcoming all obstacles that they may encounter during their tenure with the university.
  6. Issue the documents which the employees need upon returning from their leaves and update their records carefully.
  7. Make every effort to provide a safe, secured and healthy environment for all of the University’s stakeholders.
  8. Follow up on procedures related to Bahrain Labour Market Regulatory Authority and Social Insurance for all employees at the university.
