ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
Meet the rising demand for IT experts with our Computer Science programme, offering three specialised tracks: General Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security. Combining strong theoretical foundations with practical, hands-on training, students master programming, algorithms, networks, AI, and cybersecurity through team-based experiential learning. The curriculum is aligned with global standards such as ABET and ACM/IEEE-CS, and is regularly updated to keep pace with industry trends. Accredited by Bahrain’s BQA and integrated into the National Qualifications Framework, the programme enhances students’ critical thinking and research skills, preparing them to excel in dynamic IT careers locally, regionally, and internationally. |

–The above is an approximate calculation as per the study plan per year.
–The fees may increase/decrease depending on the registered courses per semster.
–The tuition fees are paid every semester in three instalments: The First instalment when registering the courses and the Second instalment prior to the Mid-Term exams and the Third instalment prior to the Final Exams.
–Summer term is optional for the students to register, and in the event that the student registers courses for the summer semester, the value per Credit Hour is 92.7 BD, noting that the maximum hours to register is 9.

- A Secondary School Certificate or equivalent, certified by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with a minimum average of 60% or equivalent.
- Students with averages below 60% may be admitted provided they meet one of the following criteria:
- They are from the talented category (athletes, entrepreneurs, inventors, authors) and artists who represent the Kingdom of Bahrain internationally.
- They have at least one year of relevant practical experience after obtaining their secondary school certificate.
- The University Council has granted admission for an applicant with an average below 60%.
- Note: Students admitted under Point 2 must not exceed 20% of the total admitted students.
- Admission is limited to students who have obtained a High School Certificate – Scientific Track or its equivalent.
- Transfer students are accepted as per the university bachelor degree bylaws.
- All admitted students must complete the Compulsory English Language Test to determine their level:
- Students scoring 0–34 must attend Elementary English (ENG097).
- Students scoring 35–50 must attend Intermediate English (ENG098).
- Students are exempted from ENG097 and ENG098 if they obtain 51 or higher in the university test, Band 5.0 or higher in IELTS, or 450 or higher in TOEFL.
