It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the College of Law.

The College of Law at the University of Applied Sciences enjoys an excellent reputation and has made outstanding contributions to education at both the local and regional levels. The College strives to build a distinguished record of achievements in promoting human dignity, social welfare, and justice through its commitment to knowledge, education, and the law.

Legal professions are evolving rapidly and significantly from what traditional legal practice once was, as keeping pace with the demands of globalization, digital transformation, and social change has become fundamental to legal work in the modern era.

To this end, the College of Law is dedicated to equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to adapt to future changes, ensuring that its graduates possess the attributes required by the labor market in both the legal and judicial sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain and beyond.

The College of Law offers a range of specialized legal programs to suit various ambitions and career paths in the legal field. Students enjoy the flexibility to choose from the academic programs provided by the College within an engaging and stimulating learning environment equipped with the latest facilities and resources.

The College offers the following accredited academic programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, recognized by the Higher Education Council of the Kingdom of Bahrain:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
  • Master of Laws (LLM): Public Law Track and Private Law Track
  • Master of Commercial Law
  • LLB (Hons) Law – ASU

The College also offers an LLB (Hons) Law programme in English, delivered in partnership with London South Bank University (LSBU) in the United Kingdom. This program provides students with a unique opportunity to earn an internationally recognized British qualification without leaving their home country. Upon successful completion of all program requirements, students are awarded a degree from London South Bank University in the United Kingdom. In the upcoming academic year, the College will also launch an LLM in Legal Studies from London South Bank University, UK.

Furthermore, during the second semester of the academic year 2025/2026, two new PhD programs were introduced   one in Private Law and one in Public Law. These programs will significantly strengthen the College’s research profile and address the needs of the local labor market in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the wider Gulf region, by developing distinguished legal professionals capable of leadership and innovation across various fields of law.

Through these programs, graduates will gain a significant competitive advantage in the job market, acquiring the advanced learning skills that employers in Bahrain and internationally seek.

The Bachelor of Laws program at the University of Applied Sciences has earned French academic accreditation from the High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (Hcéres)  a unique academic achievement that places the University and the College of Law at the forefront of educational institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain offering distinguished legal education.
