The University Secures Its Global Recognition in Quality Education by Extending its accreditation with the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency
The University has achieved yet another milestone on the global scale by successfully passing the mid-cycle review conducted by the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), extending its accreditation until 2027. This follows the University’s initial accreditation by the agency in May 2022, clearly reflecting its commitment to providing high-quality education and strengthening its position as a leading University regionally and internationally.
Notably, the QAA is an independent world-leading quality agency with unmatched experience of providing impartial regulatory as well as collaborative quality assurance and enhancement. It grants international accreditation to universities that successfully undergo rigorous quality reviews in line with the International Quality Review (IQR) process. This measures the performance of higher education institutions outside the UK and across the globe, providing them with an independent peer review according to the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) for internal and external quality assurance in higher education.
This achievement spotlights the University’s persistent endeavours to embed a culture of quality and excellence in all aspects of its educational practices. Therefore, maintaining this accreditation enriches the University’s image worldwide and reaffirms its commitment to delivering education that meets the highest international standards.
The success of this review is likewise credited to the University’s implementation of contemporary academic strategies and adoption of best methods in teaching and learning quality assurance. This approach helps prepare graduates with the skills and competencies required to adhere to the highest international standards.
