Higher Education Institutions Exhibition 2025 Highlights

The University participated in the Higher Education Institutions Exhibition, organised by the Alumni Club, which concluded on Thursday, 2 September 2025, with wide participation from universities and higher education institutions across the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, in the presence of Dr Diana Abdulkarim Al Jahromi, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council, Professor Waheeb Al Khaja, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Professor Hatem Masri, President of the University, along with a number of university presidents and representatives from various higher education institutions.

Commenting on the participation, Ms Ruqaya Mohsin, Director of Marketing and Public Relations, stated that the University was keen to offer comprehensive information to students and parents about its wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and bridging programmes. Ms Ruqaya She noted that the University representatives had been present throughout the exhibition to respond to queries and offer highly informed academic advice regarding admission requirements, programme specialisation and labour market needs as per each field of education, along with the scholarships provided by the university.

She added that ASU’s participation came as part of its strategic efforts to attract talented students and equip them with the key knowledge and skills required to succeed in both local and regional job markets. She further underscored that the university offers a variety of distinguished programmes in partnership with the prestigious London South Bank University (LSBU) in the UK, granting students dual awards upon graduation, which allows them to gain a competitive advantage based on internationally recognised qualifications.

As the highest-ranked university in Bahrain according to the QS World University Rankings, the University continued to demonstrate its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and modern education.

The exhibition served as an ideal platform for students to learn more about universty’s academic offerings and campus environment, which combine quality education, production student engagement, creativity, and innovation to provide a well-rounded university life experience.
