The University and Ministry of Works signed a memorandum of understanding to Enhance Student Training Opportunities
In a move to nourish comprehensive training opportunities that will prepare students with the necessary skills for the prospective employment market, the University has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Works (MOW). The agreement intends to improve students’ experiential training and cultivate collaboration in academic and professional settings.
Under this MoU, students will gain hands-on knowledge through placements at major project sites, such as bridge construction, wastewater treatment plants, and key strategic infrastructures. The agreement also comprises field visits to various construction developments overseen by the Ministry, offering students practical insights into real-world operations, subsequently supporting their graduation projects, and enabling collaboration by jointly hosting scientific events, conferences, and seminars on topics of shared interest.
The core objective of the MoU is to reinforce the link between academic curricula and practical application, ensuring students receive training aligned with their scientific disciplines and promoting knowledge exchange through joint workshops and scientific activities.
