Student Zeina Al Balushi Wins First Place at the Turkish Open Poomase Paralympic Taekwondo Championship
In a remarkable new Olympic achievement added to the university’s record, student Zeina Al Balushi secured first place and the gold medal at the Turkish Open Poomase Paralympic Taekwondo Championship, which is classified as a two-star event on the World Taekwondo agenda.
Professor Hatem Masri, the University President, expressed his pride in Zeina Al Balushi’s remarkable triumphs and in the outstanding accomplishments of all the University’s ambassadors, who reflect their academic and athletic excellence on the international level.
