In an evening filled with loyalty, nostalgia, and cherished university memories, the Career Development and Alumni Affairs Office at the Directorate of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the Alumni Club, organised a reunion ceremony for the University’s Saudi alumni, coinciding with the celebration of the 95th Saudi National Day.
The event was held at the Sofitel Hotel in Al Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of Prof Waheeb Al Khaja, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof Hatem Masri, President of the University, the Vice Presidents, and a large number of University staff. The ceremony also saw an impressive turnout from Saudi graduates and residents in the Kingdom, many of whom hold senior positions across both public and private sector institutions.
The celebration featured a variety of cultural and artistic performances, including a poetic recital by Saudi poet Fahad Al Shaddi, the traditional Saudi Ardah (Najdi sword dance), and a showcase of distinguished Saudi alumni success stories. The evening also included several engaging segments that reflected the deep brotherhood and unity between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The event embodied the spirit of loyalty and belonging, celebrating the University’s Saudi graduates and their lasting connection to their alma mater, while honouring the strong and historic ties between the two sister nations.
