The Internship Unit at the College of Administrative Sciences hosted an introductory lecture outlining the requirements for the field training course, which was overseen by Dr Islam Nassar, Head of the Internship Unit and Assistant Professor in Department of Business Administration.
During the Lecture, key aspects of the internship were discussed, including its objectives, the timeline, and the assessment mechanisms. Students were also reminded of the importance of engaging and maintaining open communication with supervisors while complying with the guidelines set out. Additionally, the session allowed students to have their queries about the internship answered, offering clarity on various programme elements.
In light of this, the internship programme is a crucial component of the graduation requirements, with a primary objective of furnishing students with the practical experience and applied real-life work aptitudes needed to meet the demands of the employers’ market. It is worth adding that the University places great emphasis on cultivating students’ competitive qualities by collaborating with prominent training organisations, thereby enhancing their readiness for today’s job settings and reinforcing their ability to contribute effectively to their subsequent careers.
