Administrative Sciences Students Embark on Their Internship Journey
The College of Administrative Sciences has launched the internship programme for its students for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.
Dr Islam Nassar, Head of the Internship Unit and Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration, delivered an introductory lecture outlining the registration procedures, placement process, and course requirements, including the necessary forms and evaluation criteria.
The session highlighted the importance of linking academic knowledge with practical experience. Dr Islam emphasised that internships play a vital role in equipping students with real-world skills, enhancing their professional readiness, and fostering positive engagement in the workplace.
She also stressed the significance of adhering to training guidelines and maintaining consistent communication with academic supervisors to ensure students meet all requirements and gain maximum benefit from their internship experience.
The lecture forms part of the university’s broader efforts to strengthen students’ hands-on experiential competencies and bridge the gap between academic study and industry practices, thus preparing them to excel in their careers after graduation and meet the evolving demands of the employers’ market.
