The College of Law has conducted a two-day training workshop for students in the LLB (Hons) Law programme, offered in collaboration with London South Bank University (LSBU). The workshop, which took place from November 4th to 5th, covered a wide range of theoretical and practical topics related to Sharia Law and its application in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The workshop aimed to prepare graduating students for the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments’ licensing examination required to obtain permission to practice law in Bahrain.
The sessions were delivered by Dr Murad Aljanabi, Mr Isa Al Kuwari and Ms Warda Abdulwahab, who provided comprehensive explanations of the applied and skills-based aspects of Sharia Law relevant to legal practice.
