This event has expired

The LLB (Hons) law students’ at London South Bank University (LSBU) organised an intellectual visit to the Constitutional Court on November 4th, 2025, and this is in line with the university’s ongoing dedication to enhancing its students’ educational experience and bridging theoretical learning with practical application.

The visit formed part of a series of experiential learning initiatives designed to give students firsthand exposure to the industry of one of the Kingdom’s most significant judicial institutions.
During the visit, students attended a comprehensive introductory lecture outlining the Constitutional Court’s responsibilities, jurisdictions, and its vital role in safeguarding the constitution and upholding the principles of justice and the rule of law. The session provided a valuable practical dimension that deepened students’ understanding of the national legal system.

Students also toured the Court’s various departments, where officials offered detailed explanations about the nature of the administrative work, procedures for handling constitutional cases, and the mechanisms followed in judicial review processes.

Commenting on the visit, Ms Ghada Ihsan, LLB (Hons) Law Programme Coordinator in the Department of Public Law, emphasised that the experience reflects the programme’s core philosophy of integrating academic study with field practice. She noted that such initiatives play a crucial role in preparing a generation of legal professionals with a profound understanding of the judicial system and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge effectively in real-world contexts.
