As part of the ongoing collaboration initiatives between the College of Administrative Sciences and leading companies in the labour market, aimed at strengthening the partnership between the university and the business sector, Dr Islam Nassar, Head of the Internship Unit at the College, visited several institutions and companies to monitor internship students and exchange views on internship mechanisms and cooperation between the companies and the university.
The companies included:
- Al-Kooheji Store
- Bapco Refining
- Southern Municipality – Human Resources Department
- Information & eGovernment Authority
During the visit, Dr Islam Nassar engaged with the internship students, discussing their practical experiences in the workplace and listening to their feedback on the internship programmes and their alignment with their academic specialisations.
She emphasised the importance of such visits in enhancing communication between the university and the business sector, highlighting that the Internship Unit continuously works on developing internship programmes to ensure students gain maximum benefit by bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
