54 Organisations and Key Employers Meet Students at the University’s 13th Career Day
As part of its ongoing commitment to aligning academic outcomes with labour market needs and enhancing students’ readiness for future careers, the University organised the 13th Career Day for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The career day event was attended by Her Excellency Dr Diana Abdulkarim Al Jahrami, Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council; His Excellency Professor Waheeb Al Khaja, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees; and Professor Hatem Masri, the President of the University, alongside a distinguished group of representatives from government and private sector institutions.
The event brought together 54 organisations and key employers representing a wide range of vital sectors, including legal, financial, engineering, technology, media, tourism, training and recruitment, as well as diverse business fields. The event provided students with the opportunity to gain direct insights into labour market requirements, explore available career opportunities, and receive professional guidance from representatives of participating organisations. The Career Day forms part of the University’s broader efforts to connect academic learning with real-world practice. The University places strong emphasis on preparing its students professionally and continuously works to build strategic partnerships with labour market institutions in order to enhance graduate employability and strengthen their competitiveness locally and regionally. This current edition was distinguished by the diversity of participating institutions and specialisations, offering students and graduates wider opportunities to explore employment and training pathways
