Open Meeting for Law College Students

The Law College at the University of Applied Sciences held an extensive meeting with the students of the Law College on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 3:30 PM. The meeting was attended by Dr. Yasser Al-Khalayleh, the Dean of the College, the heads of academic departments, the coordinator of the Bachelor’s program in Law, the Director of Graduate Studies, the Director of Training Unit, the Chairman and members of the Student Communication Committee in the College, the Student Representative in the Student Council, the Student Affairs Representative in the University, several faculty members, and many students.

 

The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize everyone with the work of the college, the guidance plan, the role of the academic advisor, and their responsibilities in the success of the educational process for the students. It also aimed to provide information about the advisory record, how to navigate the university’s website, and to emphasize the importance of the administrative, financial, and academic regulations in the students’ academic progress and to prevent any obstacles.

 

During the meeting, the students interacted significantly and raised concerns regarding their academic development in the college. They emphasized the importance of continuing their studies at the university due to the favorable academic and administrative conditions it provides. They also inquired about the nature of the final exams at the end of the first semester and offered some suggestions in this regard.

 

The Dean of the College, the Vice Dean, and the heads of departments answered most of the questions and inquiries raised by the students. They reassured everyone that the academic process is being carried out in accordance with the scientific quality standards that distinguish the college and the University of Applied Sciences.
